Platelet-rich plasma improves lipopolysaccharide-induced inflammatory response by upgrading autophagy

Objectives Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) plays an important role at all stages of wound healing, including the inflammatory stage. Macrophage autophagy has been found to influence response process. However, it is unclear whether PRP can affect responses via macrophage autophagy. In present study, we explored effect on and researched underlying mechanism. Methods RAW 264.7 macrophages were treated with and/or lipopolysaccharide (LPS). The effects expression factors determined by ELISA qRT-PCR. autophagosomes also assessed TEM immunofluorescence. Autophagy NLRP3-related proteins investigated using Western blot analysis. Results reduced levels increased in cells. Pretreatment 3-MA, which inhibitor, abolished impact response.
